Pink Lady
This image is striking. The colours, the simplicity and yet it captures the imagination.

I could live with this
I adore this head board it is certainly one I can see myself living with, but I must confess, we do not have a head board on our bed. We sleep with the mattress on the floor. Why? You may ask. Because we don´t want to spend our money on something we are not in love with, and until we find it, are very happy to be without. Much to the shame and embarassment of the in-laws. They think this is the equivilant of the next step to living in the villa (shanty town).

Bouquet
Loving this colour combination of the apricot and black. My dream garden, would be a moon garden filled with fragrant white flowers. Yet at the same time, I don´t think I could help myself from adding black and red, the colours of my passion; Tango!

Dream Cabin
I am obsessed with little houses lately. I dream of having a little cabaña on the beaches of Uruguay. Wouldn´t this be just darling?

Shopping Regrets
Do you ever have regrets about not buying something? For me these boots are it. Why why?! Did I not buy the teal blue pair with olive green piping? Why?! And they were on sale. Why did I even think they would be there the next week?!

Inspiration
Via Just Glitter Lust
I feel inspired to create something similar with found objects, one day. Maybe it could be a family project, perhaps in colour as well?

Starck vs. Castiglioni
Photo via smartfurniture.com
The Ghost Chair by Phillipe Starck have always seduced me with their sexy transparency. Unfortunately my practical side always won, as I don´t think I would allow any of my visitors to sit down in the The Ghost Chair for fear of their clothing scratching up the surface. Therefore I would have a rule. If you sit in this chair, you must sit in it naked. And well....I don´t think I really want to see my friends naked, there are just somethings you do not want singed in your brain cells.
Then I saw this photograph. These chairs are perfect and have the best of both worlds. Sexy transparency and the practicality of the pillow´s protective buffering power. I think I prefer the brawniness of the barrel chair as well.

Once Upon A Time
Once upon a time, I worked in a tea house that also sold antiques. The owners were quite fond of me and treated me like the daughter they never had. I came across this photograph, of the delicate teacup with the flowers in the bowl that France and John gave me, and all the memories of that happy time came flooding back in an instant.

Tough Yet Delicate
I have no idea where I had saved this photo from, but I love the delicate flowers engraved into the concrete floor.

Wet
I would be happy to have this in my yard when it gets to be 31ºC or more, here in Buenos Aires, one doesn´t get too picky about how the pool looks. Although I would not go so far as sticking my feet in the Riachuelo.
The spare concrete walls would fit in well with much of the landscape here. Although I do prefer the blue coloured pools.

Moody
I love the moodiness of the wallpaper in these two rooms. Logically I dislike wallpaper...well more like my cheap side dislikes wallpaper, as I tend to gravitate towards the most costly, therefore wiping out my family´s entire food budget for the year. Bathroom photo found here. Living room...somewhere but now I have forgotten.

Smarty Pants!
I think I need to find me some of these clear plastic bags to organize the little things hanging about the house for future use. What a smarty pants she is!

Dream Day Bed
Found this spacey day bed at VINTAGE + CHIC, it really makes my heart palpitate. I always had a self meter to measure my true desire for making a purchase. I would ask myself, do you want this fabulous sofa or a trip to Buenos Aires. But for this day bed, I may have almost decided to skip the trip.

Gorg Wallpaper
I have to say, I am not so keen on wallpaper, this one enchants me. It appears to be vintage, regardless it is wonderful! I´ll take the sofa too!
